PHYSICIAN LICENSE RENEWAL

2023-2024 Physician renewals are now CLOSED.

Licensees who fail to submit their application for renewal by June 30th may submit their paper renewal application, the requisite renewal fee, and the license renewal grace period surcharge of $100 no later than September 30th. The total fee to renew at this time is $280.00

Licensees who fail to renew their license by the June 30th renewal deadline, and who are not granted a license renewal grace period, are required to go through the reactivation process to restore their license to active status.

PAPER PHYSICIAN RENEWAL


If you would like a paper renewal form and/or affidavit mailed to you, please contact the Board office at (307) 778-7053 


 All renewals and associated fees, paper or electronic format, must be received in the Board office no later than 5:00 p.m. MDT on 

September 30, 2023.


REMINDER: If you are renewing as EMERITUS or INACTIVE by paper, you must complete and have notarized, the appropriate affidavit and mail it to the Board office in addition to completing the paper renewal form. 


NOTE: If you obtained your Wyoming medical license via the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact also known as the IMLC (your Wyoming license ends with the letter 'C'), you are required to pay the $240 renewal fee directly on the IMLC website under the Wyoming renewal. After visiting the IMLC website renewal, you then you must print, complete and mail the paper renewal form located on this page along with the grace period fee of $100 (must be paid by check and accompany the paper renewal form).  

REMINDER: In this renewal cycle, physicians holding a Wyoming controlled substance registration must verify completion of at least one (1) hour of CME related to responsible prescribing of controlled substances or treatment of substance abuse disorders in the preceding two (2) years. 

The Board has not approved specific courses, but they must be Category I or II approved by the AMA or AOA.
